1. Measure the wall. A 48 inch top holds a laptop and one monitor. A 60 inch top holds two screens.
2. Set the chair and the desk height before you buy a footrest.
3. Clamp a monitor arm and put the webcam on the bezel, not the laptop lid.
4. Mount the power strip under the top. Leave a loop so the desk can rise.
5. Add the lamp, then a bias light if you work at night.
